Are you an experienced security guard with great customer service skills? This would be the job for you. We are a high end dispensary looking to hire one full time or two part-time security guards at our Tacoma, WA location. Must be 21+ to apply. Wednesday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Responsibilities/Job Duties: Acting as the face of the dispensary, welcoming customers into the store. Checking ID’s of customers before entry. Controlling the entrance and departure of employees and customers according to safety protocols Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management Using provided communication devices such as headsets in a clear and concise manner to communicate with staff Requirements: Extremely personable, positive, and approachable Fantastic customer service skills Ability to stay calm and deescalate heated situations Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business Can work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
