Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Salary: $19-$22 We are seeking experienced Armed Security Officers with a proven background in working within school settings and Jewish institutions. Our goal is to maintain a secure, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities: • Monitor and patrol the facilities to ensure safety and security. • Enforce safety policies and respond promptly to emergencies. • Assist students, staff, vendors, and visitors with any security-related concerns. • Utilize our visitor management system to track vendors, guests, and parents. • Monitor security cameras and alarms to detect and resolve potential security risks. • Ensure all security procedures are followed while maintaining a positive environment. • Flexibility to work extended hours with an ever-changing schedule, including overtime, days and mid-shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed. Minimum Qualifications: • Valid California Guard Card and Exposed Firearms Permit are required. • Baton, Pepper Spray, and Taser certifications are optional. • Strong communication skills and attention to detail. • Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work. Candidate Will Have: • Experience in a school or educational environment. • Experience in a Jewish institution setting. • A strong commitment to safety, vigilance, and community engagement.
