Cal Coast Telecom is a well-established, growing company specializing in Low-Voltage Voice, Data Cabling, Audiovisual, and Security Systems. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Telecommunications Foreman specialized in Access Control and CCTV systems lead the installation, programming, and troubleshooting of advanced commercial security solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Install and configure: - IP/CCTV cameras, thermal LPR cameras, analytics, monitors, rack equipment. - Access control systems, intrusion detection systems, intercom systems, and relays. - Program systems to customer specifications, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems. - Assist with hands-on installation of CCTV, access control, and Access control systems. - Perform advanced system programming and troubleshooting on platforms such as LenelS2, Bosh, Genetec, Avigilon, Mercury, Milestone, Brivo, Eagle Eye, and DMP. - Conduct on-site project evaluations to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. - Notify the Project Manager of any out-of-scope work requests or requirements. - Maintain accurate project documentation, Drawings, ensuring work plans reflect the current status and resolutions are well-written. - Assist our Service Department in updating time & material (T&M) tickets, ensuring accurate time entry, product tracking, and billing. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience installing/servicing CCTV systems, Access control, and Intrusion Systems - 4+ years of experience in a leadership role. - Maintain an unexpired class C driver’s license - High school degree or equivalent - Availability for overtime and weekend work as needed - Strong punctuality and attendance record - Must be able to pass a 7-year background check - Must be able to pass a drug screen PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements. - Walking, driving, bending, stopping, hearing, and speaking regularly. - Ability to move, transport, install, or remove items weighing 50+ lbs. - Driving for 2+ hours in a workday. - Occasional work at extreme heights, in confined spaces, or under varying indoor temperatures. - Work performed on construction sites, in commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, and hospitals (including patient-contact areas).
