RESPONSIBILITIES This position handles the support of the Sensitive Compartment Information Facility. This role includes: Demonstrated experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC), showcasing a strong understanding of the intricate interplay between safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive information in a highly regulated environment. Proficiency in managing and implementing alarm and access control systems, ensuring that robust security measures are in place to prevent unauthorized access and respond effectively to potential security breaches. Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior security personnel, providing guidance and support in their professional development, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere, and ensuring that all security protocols and procedures are adhered to with the utmost diligence. Requirements Six (6) years of experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC.  Three (3) years of experience in: Alarm and access control systems and Overseeing junior security personnel. If a proposed individual does not meet both the desired education and experience qualifications, ten (10) years of professional technical activities related to security would be considered equivalent. Six (6) of these ten (10) years should demonstrate experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC. Three (3) of the ten (10) years should demonstrate experience in “1” and “2”. A minimum Secret security clearance or higher with the ability to obtain a Top Secret w/ SCI is required to be considered for this position. Must have a clean criminal history with no convictions or major traffic offenses Must have experience and knowledge of security operations Must have experience with basic force protection Must have excellent written and oral communication skills Must be medically fit and undergo medical testing Must pass a Physical Ability Test (to include - run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and 21 pushups in two minutes). This is strictly enforced, and exceptions or waivers will not be allowed Must be willing to undergo random drug testing upon request Regular working hours are 48 hours per week. Due to the nature of the proposed employment, the employee may work on different schedules on different days of the week as assigned by a supervisor and may also be required to work additional hours beyond scheduled time Physical Requirements/Working Environment: The candidate must maintain the necessary physical fitness to ensure accomplishment of assigned missions.
