Security Guard - Construction Gate Guard Needed HIRE IMMEDIATELY (Newark)

Looking for an experienced and responsible security guard to control access to a construction site. You will be stationed during work hours at the construction gate and you cannot leave except for schedule breaks. You will be responsible for controlling who enters and exits the construction site. Here are the requirements, DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU READ THIS. WORK TO START IMMEDIATELY. ONE PROJECT IS IN NEWARK AND ONE IS IN ORANGE. If you are ex LEO with an active NJ PTC and willing to drive as well, pay is flexible and can be higher, this can be a base position with other tasks available as well. 1) Clean record 2) Don't use drugs 3) Pass a background check 4) Follow instructions 5) Good at talking to people 6) Be able to remember the people that are allowed in, be able to read a list of approved visitors and make sure they are allowed access. 7) You MUST follow instructions, if you are unsure if someone is allowed in, YOU CANNOT LET THEM IN UNLESS YOU VERIFY THEY ARE ALLOWED ACCESS. 8) If people try to force their way in, or intimidate you, you MUST BE ABLE TO HANDLE a tense environment professionally without backing down. 9) RELIABLE AND DEDICATED, YOU CANNOT MISS WORK, IF YOU DO, THAT WILL BE YOUR LAST DAY. WE MUST BE ABLE TO DEPEND ON YOU. 10) Be willing to run out to the store to pick things up if needed on an emergency basis, home depot etc. 11) Construction experience is a plus. Hours are ROUGHLY 6:45AM - 4PM 5 days a week, you will be required to work more hours as needed, you should be flexible and want to work. Pay is from $15-20/hours depending on experience, but will pay more for responsibility and experience. YOUR POSITION IS CRITICAL, YOU CANNOT MISS WORK, YOU CANNOT BE LATE, THERE CAN BE NO EXCUSES, THIS MUST BE A PRIORITY FOR YOU. THERE IS ROOM FOR GROWTH WITH THE COMPANY.
