JOB SUMMARY The Site Security Director will be directly involved in the day-to-day security operations of a large non-profit organization site located on the peninsula with hundreds of employees and thousands of daily visitors. Continually updates and/or creates post orders as well as security policies & procedures. · Assess and conduct training for security personnel and client staff. Trains members of the client’s staff up to and including senior management on specific duties as needed. · Create and support strong relations with community partners, such as PAPD, MVPD, Federation, SCN, fellow JCC security directors, FBI, etc. · Rigid monitoring of local, national, and international threat levels and adjusting staffing and procedures accordingly. · Maintain close vigilance of campus visitors while supporting a welcoming and friendly demeanor Monitors the greater community, both site-specific and surrounding areas, for potential threats. Enhance security operations by constantly reviewing procedures, activities, training, and technology. · Address concerns, complaints, and suggestions from security personnel, the client, and the public. · Review reports, track activities, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. All other security functions as needed. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: AS degree or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 4+ years of security management experience.
