MHS is hiring a full-time Dispatcher/Telecommunicator (CMT) to join our Central Monitoring team. This is a unique opportunity to use your dispatch, safety/security, and customer service skills to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth. As a CMT, you’ll be at the heart of campus operations, handling 15 - 45 dispatch calls daily, monitoring 900+ surveillance cameras, and coordinating emergency and non-emergency services across our expansive residential & school campus. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to serve.  Key Responsibilities: Receive and coordinate incoming calls and service requests Monitor fire, mechanical, and security alarms Dispatch Campus Safety Officers and Service Technicians Operate as the central hub for phone and 2-way radio communications Respond during school closures and emergencies Other duties as assigned.  Work schedule: 2nd shift, Wednesday - Saturday, 1:30 pm – 12:00 am.  Hourly pay rate: $22.33 - $29.81, pay is determined based on experience.  In addition to competitive pay, full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package. APCO Telecommunicator I, APCO Law Enforcement Dispatch, APCO Medical Dispatch training, preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IBM platforms. Experience with a Total Quality Management System a plus.  Experience handling service requests, complaints, and issues/problems. Strong customer service and dispatching skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff are role models for the students. Candidates should be willing to actively engage with students beyond the scope of their job responsibilities.
