Job opening Bedford NH compensation: $21.00 - 23.00 per hr (Pay Commensurate to Experience) employment type: part-time job title: Hotel Security Operative Immediate Opening 24hr. per weekend (8PM-4AM Friday, Saturday and Sunday) Specific Dates Available: October: 10,11,12,17,18,19,24,25,26 November: 1,5,7,8,22 December: 5,6,12,19,21,27 A hotel security officer is not only responsible for the safety of the hotel guests, he or she is also responsible for the safe keeping of the hotel, its staff and property. The security officer also often patrols banquet and meeting rooms and responds to any type of disturbance, from a fire or unauthorized guest to a medical emergency. The security officer also responds to guest complaints concerning disturbances and problems. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: High School or college degree preferred Previous Hotel Security or Police experienced preferred Experience in CPR and First Aid Fire Safety knowledge preferred - 1-2 years of experience in a luxury hotel security Fluent English Must live within a reasonable distance from job site. May be required to report for duty at any time, including during states of emergency. Must possess a NH Security Guard License or be able to attain one (Form DSSP247 NH.Gov Department of Public Safety) Must be at least 21+ years of age - Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States 1. Responsible for maintaining clear and concise logs of all nightly occurrences, suspicious activity. 2. Responds to guest requests quickly and courteously as reported by night shift staff. 3. Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required. 4. Assist guests/employees during emergency situations. 5. Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. 6. Security might also need to evict loiterers or trespassers from time to time. 7. Escort Guests and Employees from the bar or pub and occasionally guests becomes intoxicated or combative. 8. Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation. 9. Lock property entrances as required. 10. Patrol hotel grounds. 11. Conduct daily physical hazard inspections. 12. Maintains safety and security of guests at all times.. 13. Any other duties assigned by the superior or management. 1 4.
