Armed Security Officer – Flexible On-Call / Fill-In Shift / Rover (hayward / castro valley)

We are a licensed security company providing armed and unarmed guard services to high-end jewelry stores across California. We are building a roster of flexible, dependable security officers who can cover shifts on short notice when our regular guards are unavailable. This position is perfect for: Guards looking to earn extra income on top of another job Retired law enforcement or security professionals Students or part-time workers with open availability on certain days People who don’t need guaranteed hours but want high-rate work when available Job Details: No fixed post or set schedule — you’ll be called when a shift needs coverage Shifts may be same-day or next-day notice Locations vary, we will match you to sites near your home when possible Armed and unarmed positions available (guard card required; exposed firearm permit for armed) Pay starts at $20/hr, for unarmed; 24/hr for unarmed, with higher rate for short-notice or distant assignments Travel pay provided for certain assignments Requirements: Valid California Guard Card (required) Exposed Firearm Permit for armed shifts (preferred for certain sites) Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned site Ability to respond to calls/texts quickly when available Professional appearance and conduct at all times How It Works: You let us know your available days/times each week. If a shift opens that fits your availability, we’ll call you. If you can take it, you get paid for the shift. Same day pay is available.
