I have a one bedroom within a two bedroom apartment available near Fountain and Chelton. I moved in this apartment with my younger sibling who moved out in May with her boyfriend out of state. The one bedroom available is available now. It is partially furnished with a queen bed, queen box spring and full sized mattress- clean. I can remove this before you move if you won’t want it. I work Sunday through Thursday 8:30am until 4:30pm I work in a behavioral health center. The apartment complex would require you to do a background check $55 and pay a non refundable admin fee of $125 to be added to lease. I’m not charging a deposit which I can tell you is pretty unheard of! The building I live in is secured 5pm until 8am everyday so you need a fob or an app to get in. You can move in once the background check and admin fee is paid to the complex. I am asking $550 month for the room to include all utilities. There is a laundry room in the building I’ve never used but it’s available. I go to a laundry mat down the road. There is the number 1 bus line directly in front of my building or you can get a parking pass from the leasing office. I might be willing to give you a ride here and there if need be. I am seeking someone who is single, absolutely no couples, no dependents and no pets. I require you have a job at least 6 months minimum which is pretty reasonable. I do not particularly care about your background or credit history- the complex makes that determination. The complex is flexible with adverse reports so don’t feel discouraged to still apply. I am single and I do not have guests over, maybe once a month I’ll have someone come by for a little bit. I have three parakeets- which can get loud so keep that in mind. I used to stay in my room a majority of the time when my sibling and her kid lived with me. My current lease ends on January 31st, 2026 so this would be considered a short term rental. We can cross the bridge at renewal when the time comes. I do utilize a ring door camera on my entrance mainly because I’ve usually lived in houses and it’s a habit I continue to do. I also do not like random people in and out of my house. So if you’re really social this might not be a good pick for you. There is a designated smoking area OUTSIDE if you smoke, I personally vape. The apartment does run hot in the summer and cold in the winter - you’ve been warned. I’m also on the third floor of my building. I am reasonable and open minded.
