Hey students and future renters! I am a local landlord here (not one of those out of town / corporate types that don't know who their tenants are). I've been renting my units here in New Orleans for almost 20 years. I live down the street and address repairs / concerns very quickly. I take a personal pride in helping students (and parents) navigate this important time in their lives. I have several units in the area (close to campus) and this one is the first one I ever owned when I moved down here almost 20 years ago. I actually used to live here with my now wife and we really think you'll love it because it is on a quiet street, with long term residential neighbors nearby with many beautiful trees in the backyard and on the road. It is a very community feel here where everyone looks out for one another. It has two separate units (one above and one below). This posting is for the upstairs unit to rent out two of the bedrooms as a group or individually. One room is occupied by a fantastic tenant already who recently graduated and now works at Tulane. The other two can come furnished or unfurnished and are just waiting for the right two folks to come aboard. All are welcome but if you have a need to be close to the University (Tulane or Loyola) this place can't be beat for the price. The unit is 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. And it is very close to campus (two blocks from Broadway and one block from Willow) so walking / biking is only a 7 minute journey to most destinations on campus. TLDR: - recent interior renovations to floors, kitchens and bathrooms - central air and heat - ample closet space - washer / dryer - stainless appliances - large backyard to host gatherings - utilities paid by tenant separately (electric / water / trash) - can rent furnished if needed - Flexible rental options available but preference given to longer term subleases / leases (Aug - Dec, Jan - June or Aug - June) Happy to schedule time for you to come by and check it out.
