Greetings fellow students! We have a room coming available in our Northgate Student House for the upcoming 2025/26 school year! Our Northgate Student House is located near Northgate shopping mall with easy access to I-5 as well as transit to the University of Washington, North Seattle Community College and Shoreline Community College as well as Lake Union and Downtown Seattle. The house is tucked away in a quiet residential street on 8th Ave NE & NE 120th St. There is a bus stop located 1 block away and I-5 is just 3 blocks away so whether you are a UW or NSCC student or work near Downtown Seattle, you can get where you need to go very quickly all while still being away from the noise and overcrowding of the business sector. This is a nice home with roommates that are currently UW and NSCC students as well as a few young professionals (recent grads) that are all friendly while also know how to respect others privacy. We currently have a bedroom available for the new 2025/26 school year and we are looking for some awesome and mature students/recent grads to come join us! The house consists of 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. On the main floor there are a total of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a shared living room, a shared kitchen, and dining area, and right off the dining area and living room is an outdoor deck and sizeable back yard to enjoy fresh air or lay in the sun with your fellow roommates! The second floor has 2 regular bedrooms, a full bathroom, the laundry room and the master bedroom which has its own bathroom. Both of the current available bedrooms are furnished with a twin size bed, dresser, desk, study chair, plenty of lighting and nightstand. Interested candidates should be good communicators, good at keeping common areas clean and tidy (no dirty dishes left in sink, clean up after cooking including stove top and counter areas, properly dispose of garbage/recycling/compost, keeping living room/dining room area free of personal belongings such as clothing, boxes, miscellaneous personal items) respecting everyone else by being polite, keeping things quiet (ie closing doors quietly, keeping voices down, headphones for music, zoom classes, etc) so that everyone can enjoy our relaxing and peaceful environment and not be distracted when studying, sleeping or taking a nap. We are a non-smoking and drug-free house (inside and out) and although we do enjoy having a roommate potluck night, and/or an occasional game of cards together we are not a "party house". Rent is $825 per month for a 1-year lease starting September 16th 2025 and that includes all utilities as well as WiFi. There is some flexibility with the move-in date. With the application process there is a $45 screening fee, $300 deposit and if approved, 1st/last rent payment.
