$770 Room for rent near the pond in JP - $770/MONTH (Jamaica Plain)

We're looking for a new roommate to join us in our three bedroom, one bathroom apartment on Perkins St. in Jamaica Plain. Rent is $770 per month, not including utilities (gas, electric, internet, and compost). The room will be available November 1st. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the #39 bus and a 15 minute walk from Heath St. on the Green Line E and both Jackson Square and Stonybrook on the Orange Line. The grocery store, library, and pharmacy are all within a 10 minute walk from the apartment, too. Jamaica Pond is at the end of our block! The apartment is a third floor walk-up in a three-story house. The kitchen has lots of counter space and the stove and fridge were replaced within the past few years. The kitchen is spacious and open, and connects to the living room. The common spaces are all fully furnished, but if you have furniture we are open to trying to accommodate it. The bedroom gets a lot of sun in the morning from big east facing windows. There is a free washer and dryer in the basement, and space for bike storage on the first floor landing. It is easy to find street parking, which doesn't require a permit. We are one non-binary person and one woman in our mid-to-late thirties, plus Jemjem the cat, who is a very good boy however very shy. We are not looking for more kitty roommates at this time. We are a fairly quiet house, overall, and enjoy a balance of chit chat in the kitchen and time doing our own thing. We all contribute to keeping the apartment clean, as well as to little home improvement projects, although we are also relaxed about a few unwashed dishes. We test for COVID and mask at home when sick and would like our future roommate to do the same.
