$1,350 LIVE BY THE BEACH In WINTHROP! Seeking roommate for beautiful 2 bed (Winthrop)

Ocean view bedroom available in two-bed apartment in Winthrop! $1,350/month Month-to-month lease! Open to male or female roommates. PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF IF YOU'RE SERIOUS :) Hey! I'm a 38 year old male looking for a roommate to share a 2-bed, multi-room apartment with me in Winthrop, MA, beginning November 1, 2025. This pretty cool and quirky apartment is a bi-level walk up on the second floor of a two-family house, about 100 steps from Winthrop Beach, near Watertower Hill (near a known local surf spot too!). This apartment features a roof deck (with shared access thru my bedroom, which we can coordinate), living room with plants/tv/speakers, a finished attic space which we share and can use as a lounge/music space/meditation area, recently renovated kitchen and bathroom, In-unit washer and dryer, and new appliances. There is a mudroom at the entrance which is great for leaving shoes, coats, etc, and a shed in the driveway where we can keep bikes, there’s also a 1-car driveway which we can coordinate with parking. I moved in in May 2024, and have had a great experience living here with my current roommate (whom I met via Craigslist and now consider a great friend); he just bought a condo, so I am looking for a new roommate to share this amazing space with me who is considerate, clean, and an excellent communicator. The shared spaces are furnished already, with the exception of the attic room- which could be turned into just about anything we wish (flex space for reading, chilling, yoga, guest room, whatever!). I have some plants in the living room and the kitchen (which need some love and care after being neglected while my current roommate and I were each traveling this summer), and the bathroom is really nice, with Christmas lights hung up for soft lighting. I grew up in Winthrop, and moved back a couple years ago to be near family; I have a few dear friends who live nearby also, and while I don’t consider myself a ‘Townie”... I think I probably am. I worked at BU in the IT department for over a decade, but left in July to travel. I just returned from trips in Europe and around the US, and am currently looking for the next right job for myself, and the next right roommate to share this apartment with. I play guitar and bass, write and make silly short films with my friends, and try to live with as much joy as I can. I stay pretty active during the day, and like to keep fit– I used to play ice hockey, but now mostly jog, ride bikes, swim, and snowboard in the winter. I like to read in the evenings, and am generally pretty quiet. I have activities at night that I like to attend- be it concerts, band practice, or my meditation group- so am usually not home til later in the evenings. I also don’t often entertain at this house; only occasionally do I have friends over to hang on the deck, watch a movie, or even perform some karaoke (which we did once and had a hilarious time). The ideal roommate for me is someone who is kind, considerate, emotionally in touch, honest and open, clean, respectfully quiet, hard working, active, and is curious about the world, themselves, and others.
