Hello! I am a long-time resident of Colorado. I am currently renting, and I'm looking to potentially purchase a home in the Northeast or Northwest Colorado Springs (Briargate/Rockrimmon areas). With the outrageous home prices and interest rates these days, I am looking into homes with a fully finished basement, so I can rent out the entire private level to a single occupant (sorry, no kids). Negotiable with pets depending on situation. Seeking a responsible adult who has stable income and references. Must be clean, trustworthy and respectful. Hoping to buy a house that has a kitchenette area downstairs and private entrance to create a private apartment vibe (although difficult to come by). At the very least, it will be an entire private lower level finished basement with a living room, 1-2 bedroom(s), closet, private bathroom, with off street parking in a nice neighborhood. Entrance will either be from the private walkout basement, or a shared entrance from the front door or garage. The level will be unfurnished so you can bring your own furniture to make it your own. Just throwing this out there to guage the interest and begin some conversations. Rent would be appropriately $1,350 a month and utilities (gas, electric, water, trash, and internet) are negotiable. This would be a great way to live in a nice area of town at a reasonable rate, for less than an apartment!
