Upstairs private bedroom for one person in our home in Midtown (5 BR/2 BTH). Room dimensions are 9x10, brand new carpet and paint. Located in the heart of Midtown Santa Cruz, directly off Broadway. Full bathroom on each floor, common areas are shared by tenants. Once a month house common area cleaning and yard service. Gigabyte+ wireless internet, huge backyard/garden area (80x30), some bonsai plants/rose bushes around, along with empty planter boxes and plenty of room for hobbies! Pets may be accepted. Shared front driveway parking and off-street parking, never an issue. UCSC is less than 4 miles away, usually a 10-12 min drive into the heart of campus. Much closer to the house are the Downtown shops/restaurants, the Boardwalk, our Metro Station, many grocery stores/shops/restaurants, and any highway for easy access around the area. Tenants are some UCSC undergrad students staying on, with a pet, and a couple of folks that have lived here and work in the area/over the hill. Their interests being history, art, anthropology, plants/horticulture, robotics, medicine/neuroscience, gaming, music. Not a party house.
