I (41 y.o. male) have 2 rooms available for rent in a large apartment. The available bedrooms are on the 2nd floor of a 3-story building in a great location, just outside of Quincy Center. The 1st floor is a separate apartment, and I am occupying the 3rd floor. The rooms are decently sized, and the kitchen, living room, dining room, and 2nd floor porch provide ample space in terms of common areas. Potential roommates can furnish and/or decorate the common areas. I almost exclusively use the bathroom on the 3rd floor, and a separate bathroom is available for use on the 2nd floor. -Quiet/safe neighborhood -10 min walk to Quincy Center T station -Within walking distance of Quincy Center & Wollaston Beach -Ample street parking -Refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, & large pantry area -Mostly furnished -Storage space available in basement Potential candidates should be aware that I am a smoker, but will refrain from smoking in common areas if necessary. Shared spaces, particularly the kitchen, are expected to be kept clean. Guests are welcome; though, this is not a party house. Larger gatherings would need to be cleared in advance, as I would extend the same courtesy. There is currently no TV or cable box on the 2nd floor, but that can be arranged, if desired. Internet and utilities (gas/electricity) are priced into $1200 monthly rent. 1st and last month's rent would be expected prior to moving in. Individual candidates that wish to rent both rooms as bedroom and office/other space will receive preference. Joint roommates looking to move in simultaneously also a plus. Single parent/child situations will be considered as well. Male or female candidates will be considered, however no couples to a single room.
