We look forward to having you Hitch on and Prosper with us!    JOB SUMMARY  CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Diesel Technician to join our team. Their main job duties include running diagnostic tests, determining failures, and correcting issues. This can include larger jobs of replacing transmissions and third member assemblies. Our Diesel Technicians collaborate with team members to ensure that the equipment is safe and operates efficiently.   SHIFT: 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm PAY: PAY: Varies based on experience/skills  Diesel Tech I: $24-$29/hour Diesel Tech II: $27-$33/hour Diesel Tech III: $29-$38/hour   ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES  Perform thorough DOT inspections and repairs on Company vehicles and machines.    Use different hand tools and powered equipment, such as impact wrenches, welding equipment, hoists, jacks, etc. to repair trucks while constantly utilizing safety precautions.   Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using electronic diagnostic equipment and wiring schematics, and then efficiently making those repairs.   Test drive vehicles to identify problems and to verify that equipment has been repaired properly.   Replace parts, valves, bearings, assemblies, etc. as needed and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems.  Utilize knowledge of diesel emissions and diagnostics to accurately repair issues.   Ensure parts conform to factory specifications by inspecting and verifying clearances and dimensions.   Other duties as assigned.   MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  High school diploma or GED certificate  Completion of a certificate program or technical training in mechanics and truck repair preferred.   At least 1 year or more of professional experience as a diesel technician    Excellent interpersonal, organization, logistics, math, and communication skills    Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance problems   Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations   Experienced and proficient working with diagnostic computers   Knowledge of working on trailers   Excellent customer service skills   Ability to work well with team members in a fast-paced environment    Knowledge of forklift repair and maintenance is a plus   Commercial Driver’s License is a plus   Forklift repair experience preferred BENEFITS  Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance  PTO, Paid Holidays, Volunteer Time Off, Wellness Time Off  401k Retirement Plan  Biweekly Pay  CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is an exceptional company with a mission to achieve universal prosperity with our Customers, Company, Team Members, & Communities. Position Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented CAPA Manager to lead the administration and reporting of our Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system. This role is pivotal in ensuring that quality issues are addressed effectively and transparently, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance. The CAPA Manager will not own the CAPA actions themselves but will be responsible for overseeing the CAPA process runs in a manner that is compliant with ISO 13485 and associated regulations, ensuring timely and effective execution by CAPA owners, and reporting progress and effectiveness to senior management. Listed below are the major responsibilities of the role and a brief description of some of the key tasks to be performed. This list is not totally exhaustive.
