7D School Bus Driver Malden Trans is now hiring responsible individuals with 7D license who like working with children and enjoy part-time work hours. You must bring a copy of your driver history to interview. If hired, pre-employment screenings will be conducted such as a CORI and initial drug testing. For drivers possessing a 7D, starting pay is $20/hr. Job Duties • Safely operate a motor vehicle, in accordance with all State and Federal traffic laws, while driving school-aged children and ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini-vans, full size passenger vans, and wheelchair vans. • Safely assist students as needed on and off the vehicle and make sure buckled safely. • Follow all company policies and regulations. • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with students, parents, teachers, and Malden Trans staff. • Must be able to commit to no less than both morning (6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.) and afternoon (1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.) routes. Hours are approximate and could be shorter or longer and will vary based on assigned route. • Must have a safe and accessible location at home to park company vehicle legally and/or off-street. • Must be able to follow written and verbal directions and instructions from supervisors. • Must demonstrate a willingness to work effectively with school age children with special needs.
