Hiring: Moving Company Driver (Los Angeles)

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞: Full-Time Employee (W2) - Non-Exempt, Hourly Position (20–40 hours per week, as needed) Onsite - 810 Garland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90017 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 We are seeking a responsible, safety-focused, and customer-oriented Driver to join our moving crew. As a key member of the team, you will operate company vehicles to transport household or commercial items, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure a smooth and professional moving experience for our clients. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: • Safely operate 20- to 26- foot company moving trucks • Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment alongside the moving crew • Assist with the assembly and disassembly of furniture as needed • Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and/or dispatch instructions • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, report any mechanical issues, and ensure proper use of moving tools, straps and protective padding in line with safety standards • Ensure all items are properly secured and protected during transit • Communicate clearly with clients to confirm details and provide excellent service • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and related documentation • Follow instructions from the Foreman or team lead during each move • Adhere to all company safety procedures and operational protocols • Maintain flexible availability to accommodate schedules ranging from under 20 to 40 hours per week, including occasional overtime 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record • Experience operating 20 to 26-foot trucks or similar-sized vehicles • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75+ lbs repeatedly • Must be professional and speak conversational English skills • Must own a smartphone with internet access for time tracking, route updates, and team coordination • Experience in residential or commercial moving (Nice to have) • Prior moving, logistics, or general labor experience (Nice to have) • Eligible to work in the United States • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime and flexible hours as needed • Available to work between 20 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to take on fewer hours based on business needs 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭: Morning and Afternoon 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬: Workdays may vary and can include any day of the week (Monday through Sunday), including weekends and holidays, based on customer scheduling and business demand.
