Part-Time CDL Driver (Class A or B) – On-Call Independent Contractor Are you an experienced CDL driver looking for flexibility and independence? We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time, on-call Driver (Class A or B) to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting freight to various destinations across local, regional, or OTR routes. Key Responsibilities: Operate a Reefer Box Truck on designated routes Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections Maintain accurate delivery logs and records Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients Properly load and unload freight Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations Plan routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries Qualifications: Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record Proven experience with Reefer Box Trucks Strong knowledge of route driving and freight handling Ability to secure heavy loads and perform physical tasks Excellent time management and attention to detail Good communication skills Clean MVR for the past 3 years Smartphone and access to Clearing House/Drug Testing Up-to-date medical card What We Offer: Competitive pay: $25/hr (part-time, local) OTR: 30% of line haul revenue (less authorized deductions) Flexible schedule – on-call and independent Opportunity to leverage your driving skills and enjoy independence Job Types: Part-time, Contract (1099 Independent Contractor) Routes: Local, Regional, OTR If you’re a responsible driver with a passion for safe and efficient freight transport, we want to hear from you!
