We are a small fleet based out of Northern, VA we do business with family values we understand everyone has a personal life outside of work. Our team will work hand in hand with each individual driver to accommodate for holidays and additional time off needed. We do not force work. Our drivers are primarily assigned to run refrigerated no touch freight coast to coast. These drivers are generally on the road from 5 to 6 days out of the week. We mainly run routes to the Midwest and back to the east coast. Accommodations can be made to the type of work you personally feel comfortable doing as mentioned in my post we do not force work. The Warehouse Sorter is responsible for sorting tasks required in the Warehouse and Routing Departments.  Responsibilities Sorts and prepares packages for delivery to their correct destinations. Assists in loading and unloading packages in and out of delivery vehicles. Works independently or as part of a team to meet specific deadlines. Keeps inventory records up to date. Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times. Ensures the timely and efficient flow of all packages and documents through the warehouse. Other duties as assigned. This is position is responsible for the care, maintenance, and repairs of plant utility equipment and systems in a cGMP manufacturing environment for dietary supplements and cosmetics. Coordinates and performs ongoing preventive and corrective maintenance on various process equipment and critical utility systems in the plant. Requirements Job Duties and Responsibilities Perform repairs on facilities' equipment when it malfunctions: failure diagnosis, analytical trouble-shooting to determine root cause, tear down, repair, and restore operation to a minimum of inconvenience to a served area. Perform preventative maintenance required for all equipment as defined in SOPs in order to keep equipment operating at a high level of quality and reliability. Performs a predefined portion of that maintenance and coordinates/monitors the remaining portion of such preventative maintenance completed by external contractors. Provides input to management in regards to refining the type and frequency of preventative maintenance procedures. Provide operational support and troubleshooting of packaging and filling lines, including line speeds, product changeovers, operating errors, and general functionality Install, de-bug, and evaluate new equipment Establish and maintain record keeping system and repair histories Provide training support for machine operators on proper utilization and safety of plant equipment Establish contact, coordinate, and liaise with vendors as needed for onsite service, repairs, and warranty claims when applicable; supervise and inspect vendor work to assure quality Perform other building maintenance functions as required (e.g. furniture moves, basic electrical and plumbing repairs, mechanical, etc.) Enforce all safety procedures and polices as prescribed by management Additional responsibilities as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications High school education Minimum 3 years experience in a related field Some vocational mechanical training and/or electrical training Strong attention to detail, critical thinker, with excellent analytical abilities. Good written and oral communication skills. Able to lift up to 50+ pounds from pallet to floor. Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and be comfortable in tight confined spaces. Ability to work with hand tools with dexterity. Ability to wear half and full face respirators for extended durations of time. Ability to wear safety harness for altitude repairs. Preferred Skills & Qualifications 2-3 years working in a cGMP facility in a facilities capacity performing equipment and building maintenance. Previous recording and or documentation practices in an FDA regulated environment Ability to read and follow equipment schematics for diagnosis and repair. Ability to work with integral electronics systems of manufacturing equipment. Summary Under the direct supervision of the Forklift lead, the Technician is responsible for performing periodic maintenance, repair, replacement and limited troubleshooting on various models of material handling equipment. Must be proficient in completing all required paperwork needed to perform all job requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics Able to repair, or replace major system components, including circuit boards and other electrical parts, hydraulic, mechanical, L.P. systems, power steering and transmissions, engines with limited supervision. Troubleshoot and diagnose most truck components Perform engine tune-ups on most makes of equipment without supervision Perform proper PM's in a timely manner Be able to troubleshoot and diagnose most complex electrical systems on IC and electric trucks Be able to use and maintain all special tools properly. Maintain and properly use the normal tools of the trade. Must have own tools. Follows all safety procedures in performing work as well as company policies Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills Properly identify and order all necessary replacement parts Perform other duties as required per management 4+ years of previous forklift repair experience Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
