Delivery Driver - Abbey Party Rents (daly city)

Abbey Party Rents SF is growing and looking to add Delivery Leads to our staff. We have been servicing the Bay Area since 1947 with a variety of party rental needs. An individual who would be successful in this position enjoys a changing work environment, for instance; On the same day, you could be delivering equipment for a tech conference downtown in the morning then dropping of rentals for a wedding at Golden Gate Park in the afternoon. Duties and Responsibilities: Operates company vehicles in a professional, safe and courteous manner. Picks up products and invoices from warehouse/ vendors using company-provided tablets. Delivers products to customers in a timely manner. Ensures delivery of appropriate items in accordance with customer invoices and documents with pictures. Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition. Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to management. Assist in maintaining a neat and clean workplace at all times. Assists with stocking the shipping and receiving department to include lifting and carrying products and placing them in appropriate areas. Fills delivery orders by obtaining the required products and completing the appropriate paperwork. Provides customers with a receipt for orders. Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills needed: Oral Communication, Written Communication, Customer Service, Math Aptitude, Organization, Reading. Requirements: Clean DMV Driving Record (Must bring DMV print out and must be within the last 30 days to be valid) Minimum of 2 years driving experience/delivery experience Furniture delivery experience a preferred but not required Lift up to 40-75 pounds consecutively, frequent bending, stopping, pulling, walking, and lifting required Pre-employment drug screening and a background check required compensation: $20-$25 an hour DOE. vacation, medical, dental, sick, holidays Job Type: Full-time Required education: High school or equivalent Required experience: See Skills/Certifications: 1 year Required license or certification: Drivers License Clean DMV Printout Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
