Dispatch Coordinator (7158) (Redmond, WA)

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:30AM - 3PM. L&W Supply is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. L&W Supply delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business. L&W Supply is looking for a success-driven Dispatch Coordinator to assist with customer product orders, scheduling deliveries and preparing delivery routes. Specific duties may include: •Coordinating deliveries with sales team and customers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction •Working closely with warehouse personnel to ensure on-time delivery •Managing delivery equipment to ensure safe operations and compliance with all DOT and OSHA regulations •Making sure that trucks fall within standard weight limits for each vehicle •Assessing job site delivery requirements and assigning appropriate delivery vehicles •Resolving vehicle safety issues •Keeping customers informed of delivery status Specific qualifications include: •Bilingual speaking in Spanish/English is strongly preferred •Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in stressful situations •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple service needs simultaneously •Previous dispatch experience is strongly preferred •Positive attitude and team player Benefits may include: •Health, dental, and vision coverage - eligible after 60 days, low out of pocket •401(k) with generous company match - eligible after 60 days, immediately vested •Employer paid employee assistance program •Employer paid short term and long term disability •Employer paid life insurance •Flex spending •Paid vacation •Paid sick days** (See disclaimer below) •Paid holidays **In accordance with Washington State law, associates accrue 1 hour of sick pay per every 40 hours worked, starting after 90 days of employment. 40 hours of accrued time may be carried over into the next year.
