Our drivers are the top professionals in their field at C&L Transport, Inc. C & L Transport is based in Raleigh, NC Average age of our fleet is 3 years old. We have well maintained equipment. Minimal downtime. We have loads in and out of NC every day. Starting pay of $0.60 per mile for all miles Minimum guaranteed $1,250* weekly pay, 2 weeks out. Can earn up to $0.06 per mile additional bonus weekly. WHAT WE OFFER FOR COMPANY DRIVERS One Cent per mile raise each year. Specific duties may include: •Scheduling and routing product deliveries •Making sure trucks are not overloaded and that all loads fall within standard weight limits for each vehicle •Assessing job site delivery requirements and assigning appropriate delivery vehicles •Resolving all vehicle safety issues by routing vehicles to the appropriate service facilities for needed repairs •Keeping customers informed of delivery status •Ensuring that all OSHA and federal road procedures are followed •Participating in the hiring of drivers and material handlers, as well as their performance management •Coordinating fleet maintenance and ensuring all repairs are completed properly •Scheduling new equipment training for drivers and ensuring they are fully certified to operate the equipment •Ensuring that all drivers’ CDL licenses are current and informing drivers when their licenses or medical cards need to be updated Specific qualifications include: •1-2 years experience in window sales and/or installation is required •Familiarity with quoting windows is a plus •Experience with reading blueprints and conducting takeoffs is a plus •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Proven leadership experience •Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry •Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple service needs simultaneously •Previous dispatch experience is preferred •Mechanical knowledge is a plus Benefits may include: •Health, dental, and vision coverage - eligible after 60 days, low out of pocket •401(k) with generous company match - eligible after 60 days, immediately vested •Employer paid employee assistance program •Employer paid short term and long term disability •Employer paid life insurance •Flex spending •Paid vacation •Paid sick days •Paid holidays Pay Rate Information $29 - 32/hr.
