CDL Driver/Dump Truck Driver (Hayden)

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver to join our excavation team. The CDL Driver will be responsible for safely transporting construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites, ensuring timely deliveries that support project schedules. The ideal candidate will have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), a clean driving record, and experience operating heavy vehicles in construction environments. Duties/Responsibilities: • Operate commercial vehicles (dump trucks, flatbeds, mixers, or other construction vehicles) in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. • Load, transport, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any mechanical issues. • Follow delivery schedules and routes as assigned. • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery records. • Assist with basic loading/unloading tasks when required. • Communicate effectively with site supervisors, dispatch, and team members to coordinate deliveries. • Adhere to all safety policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle. • Performs other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B as required. • Proven experience driving heavy vehicles in a construction or similar environment. • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. • Ability to read maps, GPS, and follow directions. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. • Physical ability to load/unload materials as needed. • Good communication skills and reliability. • Clean driving record preferred. Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving. • Capable of lifting up to [50 lbs] as necessary. • Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
