ShareWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various driving tasks, including operating different types of vehicles. Driver Responsibilities • Review daily route plans to identify potential conflicts (e.g., road closures, non-commercial vehicle routes). • Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspections. • Load delivery vehicle, verifying order accuracy against delivery tickets. • Secure cargo in compliance with DOT safety regulations. • Deliver products to designated locations, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt as needed. • Pick up items along the route, including supplier orders, customer returns, and other materials as requested. • Maintain accurate records of mileage, deliveries, and vehicle usage. • Report vehicle maintenance issues or mechanical concerns promptly to the supervisor. • Keep delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable (interior and exterior). • Report any mispacks or shortages to the manager. • Support general warehouse operations after delivery routes are completed. • Perform additional duties as assigned.
