Delivery Driver Opportunity – Canoga Park Warehouse Independent Contractor | Weekly Pay | Flexible Schedule We’re hiring motivated and dependable delivery drivers to join our team! This opportunity is similar to Amazon Flex—drivers use their own vehicles, work independently, and enjoy consistent weekly pay. We pay per package delivered. Job Details: • Start Time: Pick up packages between 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM • Location: Canoga Park warehouse • Delivery Deadline: Packages must be delivered by 5:00 PM (7:00 PM if running multiple routes) • Route Size: you can take up to as many packages as you are able to handle. Route sizes are usually 50–60 packages per day You are able to take multiple routes, after demonstrating reliability). We expect drivers to complete 15 packages per hour. • Pay: $DOE per package, paid weekly • Delivery Areas: Mostly residential—houses and apartments - Agoura Hills, Woodland Hills, West Hills, Canoga Park, Camarillo, Oxnard, Newburry Park, Westlake, Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Reseda, Korea Town, Mid-Wilshire • Workdays: Available daily except Fridays • Tools Required: Smartphone for scanning packages and entering delivery details Requirements: • Valid driver’s license • Proof of auto insurance • Reliable personal vehicle (car, SUV, or van) • Ability to safely handle packages and meet deadlines This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy being on the road and want to maximize earnings. Supervising Engineer (Safety Response) (Sacramento)
THE POSITION The Supervising Engineer plays a critical role in advancing Sacramento’s traffic safety and mobility goals. With increasing political attention, emerging technologies, a broader definition of mobility that encompasses active transportation and equity, and growing complexity in traffic safety, the Supervising Engineer ensures that the City provides timely, high-level engineering review and guidance. The Supervising Engineer (Design, Entitlements and Studies) leads teams responsible for ensuring the public transportation network meets city, local, state, and federal standards and best practices for safe, connected, and equitable mobility. The position manages the Entitlements and Traffic Studies (ETS) and Traffic Engineering Design (TE) sections within the Transportation Division. The Supervising Engineer (Safety Response) leads teams responsible for addressing the immediate need to respond to and reduce Sacramento's high collision rate, implementing roadway safety improvements, and special projects such as quick build applications, using data-driven and community centered countermeasures. IDEAL CANDIDATE STATEMENT The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in transportation design or traffic engineering, with experience in capital project delivery and quick-build applications, as well as expertise in traffic analysis, traffic safety, and active transportation. They should have demonstrated success leading teams to deliver technical solutions that improve roadway safety and advance Vision Zero goals in a timely and cost-effective manner. The candidate must also be able to coordinate effectively with community members, neighborhood groups, elected officials, and partner agencies such as Regional Transit, Caltrans, Sacramento County, and the City’s Police and Fire Departments. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to balance technical rigor with responsiveness to political priorities and community concerns. Under direction, the Supervising Engineer supervises professional and technical staff performing professional engineering work for a major unit of a City department; prepares engineering studies and reports; assists in development and implementation of goals and policies; supervises and assists in preparation of budgets and capital improvement programs. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Experience: Five years of experience in the performance of professional engineering work in the area of assignment, including two years supervisory experience. -OR- Five years of experience in the performance of professional engineering work in the area of assignment, including four years lead over professional and technical personnel on a team or project basis performing duties which have included difficult and complex engineering responsibilities, scheduling and assigning, coordinating and/or evaluating work. -AND- Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering discipline related to the area of assignment.
