Apartner is hiring for multiple Apartment Leasing Consultants in Gainesville! As an Apartment Leasing Consultant at Apartner, you will be the welcoming face of our client properties, playing a crucial role in engaging potential residents and helping them find their perfect home. A typical day involves conducting property tours, providing information about leasing options, addressing resident inquiries, and managing administrative duties related to leasing. You will work closely with your team to ensure occupancy targets are met, all while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with residents. Starting rate of $17 to $19 per hour depending on experience! Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in leasing within the multifamily housing sector. Strong knowledge of Fair Housing Laws. Proven sales ability to drive leasing efforts and achieve occupancy targets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with prospective residents, current tenants, and team members. Ability to conduct property tours and effectively highlight features to potential renters. Strong customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with residents and prospects. Ability to professionally address resident inquiries and resolve complaints and objections. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, enabling effective management of administrative duties, lease documentation, and follow-ups. Attention to detail in processing applications, lease agreements, and maintaining client records. Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) for managing leasing processes and tracking tenant information. Resourcefulness in finding solutions to leasing-related issues. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate potential residents’ schedules. Availability to attend community events or functions to promote the property. Reliable transportation for commuting to different properties or attending community events. Willingness to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process. Nice to Have Bilingual (English/Spanish) to assist a diverse range of residents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for efficient documentation and communication.
