The car is a 1984 Buick Regal Limited two-door G-body coupe all-metal. The car has some surface rust but sand it down, paint and you should be fine structurally. I purchased the car in 2021 from my cousin. At the time, the tags were current, and my plan was just to park it in my driveway as a project. That’s where it’s been ever since. However, I never transferred the title into my name or filed for non-operational status with the DMV. As a result, the registration is now past due by 4 years. The last time the tags were paid for was in 2020, and the fee then was $122. Although my cousin did released the title as sold in 2021, I never completed the transfer, so the title is currently in limbo. That said, I can easily get a bill of sale my cousin is just a phone call away can back me up and the car can be sold without any issue. As for the condition according to my cousin of course now because of the years sitting in the drive way it needs a battery to turn on. When I bought the car it also needed a motor. My cousin mentioned it could be a head gasket issue, but to avoid the hassle, a full motor swap would be the better, more cost-effective solution.
