1997 Ford Ranger XLT 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual transmission, RWD, Standard cab, 6" stepside bed, 3in leveling kit in front. The Good... Brakes complete redone 3000mi ago. NEW alternator, distributor, wiring, battery, clutch and master cylinder, starter motor and solenoid all redone 2000mi ago. Front fog lamps installed but not hooked up. I have the wiring kit with the truck. Hayes/Chilton manual included. Regular oil changes and coolant system flush 3 times/year. NEW Method race wheels and Goodyear Wrangler tires. Maybe 300mi on them. Starts right up with no problems and runs great. Never overheats, AC is cold AF and heater works great as well. Shifts super smooth. Great overall work truck or perfect for around town driving. Manual transmission downshifting saves brakes. The not-so good... Minor oil leak at front of engine. Never oil on the ground. Not a difficult fix. Minor exhaust leak. Runs a little loud. Mechanic says it's loose in a spot. Also not a difficult fix. It is a 28 y/o vehicle, so there are cosmetic signs of this being used as a work truck for awhile. Couple dents and more than a few scratches and oxidization 'cause this is AZ.
