1949 Dodge Wayfarer Roadster - $6,950 (Chicago)

This is a project car that I have owned for 6 years. It is a unique model as it is a true roadster but instead of side curtains in has drop in plastic windows. It is all original and some previous owner apparently wanted to customize it a bit. I began some disassembly (I have the rear fenders), worked on the engine, purchased many NOS or nice used parts, did some metal patching and restored many individual parts. It had sustained much rust and someone had installed a new floor in it. It has potential but would take a total restoration to be roadworthy. It could be a candidate for its body to be installed on a more modern chassis and becoming a resto-rod.
