The main duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following: Monitor and report on the compliance of daily departmental safety inspections within the warehouse Analyze and report if building/property found to be out of compliance Working in conjunction with the Warehouse Management team, provide safety training for employees on policies, regulations and procedures Work with all market staff to complete monthly training requirements Ensure all safety related trainings are updated and linked within the training matrix Monthly Safety Topics Serve as primary contact for accident and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Enter all accidents and injuries into Incident Tracker Ensure ADP training videos are assigned Employee and Supervisor Track and enter completion dates Help analyze incident reports, metrics and injury case studies in order to institute changes that lead to a safer environment Use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to determine additional policies and procedures required to improve safety and wellness within the facility Send RCA after each accident or incident Track and enter completion dates Maintain accurate and current records in accordance with guidelines. OSHA Logs MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) Assist with preparation and leadership of monthly Safety Committee meetings Provide guidance, data and feedback to Distribution Managers to build Safety Scorecards Collaborate on Emergency Action Plan and serve as a main contact for evacuation procedures Perform monthly emergency evacuation drills Serve as a main point of contact during emergency events Distribute monthly safety training topics Ensure more than 90% completion from market staff Work with other market Safety Coordinators to discuss and implement best practices Responsible for maintenance Safety folders in Google Drive for respective markets The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Requirements HS diploma or equivalent Minimum of two-years warehouse experience preferred Previous experience working in a Safety or Compliance capacity preferred Must be comfortable using warehouse hardware, including handheld scanners, and both Apple and Android handheld devices Must be comfortable using company software for basic communication and reporting, including email, Slack, and spreadsheets Effective verbal and written communication The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds Benefits Compensation for this role is $20-24/hr, depending on experience. Support or lead regulatory inspection preparations (FDA, EMA, PMDA, etc.). Lead Site Inspection Readiness Training visits and manage inspection-related CAPAs. Serve as front room/backroom support during inspections and advise on team assignments. Audit and Vendor Oversight Support QA Vendor Quality Oversight (VQO) audit teams. Provide input into vendor audit scope and review CAPA responses. Co-audit vendor audits, as needed. Process Quality Excellence (PQE) Support Participate in and lead process audits and multi-study quality events. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a life science or health-related discipline required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 7 years of GCP Quality Assurance or related clinical trial oversight experience.
