HealingUS Centers is seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health/Substance Abuse Intern to join our clinical team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing licensure in mental health counseling or social work while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment. As an intern, you will be responsible for: - Assisting licensed clinicians in developing and implementing treatment plans. - Conducting psychosocial assessments under supervision. - Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions alongside licensed staff. - Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate clinical records. - Participating in treatment team meetings and case consultations. - Providing supportive services to clients and their families. - Gaining insights into various therapeutic techniques and treatment modalities. This is an unpaid position. Requirements - Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. - Ability to obtain appropriate internship supervision and licensure hours. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Passion for helping individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. - Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus but not required.
