Description

The Program Management Division at LaBella is looking for a dedicated Field Construction Manager. The Field Construction Manager will conduct direct and indirect inspections to various Electric Utility Construction projects to meet client needs. The FCM will oversee contractor construction activities on behalf of the Owner to ensure compliance with the plans and specifications, safety and environmental regulations, and Company requirements, they will coordinate onsite work activities with Company operations, and other projects. The FCM will coordinate and manage on site work documentation and communications in support of the overall Construction Manager, Project Manager, and/or the Owner. The FCM is responsible for coordination of material delivery, develop and maintain as-built documentation, and must be onsite whenever work of any nature is being performed, monitor schedule, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. The prospective individual will have a willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments throughout the industry. Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000 The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. Responsibilities: Work closely with the Project Manager for day-to-day operations Assure contractor obligation and adherence to design plans, changeorders, RFIs, MOC, etc. Document contractor day to day activities Demonstrates leadership in health, safety and environmental protection on the project. Applies the requirements of the project specific safety program to promote overall compliance of health and safety standards, applicable regulations and codes with all employees and subcontractors on the project Keep written/photographs and records onsite to adequately document project to client standards. Ensures installation is in accordance with utilities Construction Standards, O/M Manual, Federal and State law, and Industry best practices. The candidate will have Tent and Mezzanine experience together with a professional tent installation background, Special Event Specialists, Rental Specialists, or an interest in sports management. Experience with Höcker HTS, RÖDER, Losberger or Velderman products preferred. Project Managers are accountable for financial success and on time completion of projects. Responsibilities include the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. Project managers should take ownership of projects and work to meet benchmarks as well as set budgets. It is essential that the project manager distributes accurate information in a timely manner to the appropriate personnel. The project manager’s most vital skill is communication. GAC Enterprises, LLC, a leading telecommunication construction company based in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Underground Construction Field Laborer to join our team in our Albuquerque, New Mexico market. The Ground Hand (underground construction) will be responsible for placing conduit and/or cables in trenches, splice conduit sections (install couplers) as directed, place anchors, pedestals, vaults, etc. to complete construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of the telecommunication construction industry. Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment, materials, and supplies needed for daily work.
