Qualis LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support the design, integration, and delivery of advanced technology solutions in a dynamic rapid prototyping environment at our Hunstville, AL office. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, systems-level thinking, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in the development of cutting-edge hardware systems, such as RF, electronic, or space-related technologies. Essential Duties: Develops and applies advanced hardware design methods, theories, and researches techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems. Leads team of subject matter experts to define technical problem and architect solutions Develops and presents technical white papers and executive level briefings. Develops program technical approach and technical roadmap Develops technical program plan, identifies technical milestones, and ensures progress against the technical objectives. ***Please note - this is an in-house position only, remote work is NOT available for this position.*** About the Company: Ciuffo Cabinetry is a custom woodworking firm specializing in kitchens, baths, closets and all other residential millwork design and manufacturing. We are currently seeking a millwork CNC Programmer to join our office team. Please note that we can offer training to the right candidate, so extensive CNC Programming experience is not required. We also welcome drafters who would like to learn CNC Programming. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, hand drawings, and/or AutoCAD drawings and designs. • Use IX/3D software to create design drawings of kitchens and other millwork for fabrication. • Utilize IX software and AutoCAD to process kitchens and other millwork to the CNC machine. • Program CNC from CAD/CAM design drawings using IX and Enroute software. • Communicate with vendors, shop foreman and executive team daily. • Work with shop on construction methods and installation plans. • Miscellaneous drafting work as needed in IX and AutoCAD for purposes of production. Requirements: • Relevant drafting and CNC programming experience in a millwork, kitchen cabinetry, and/or wood manufacturing facility strongly preferred, experience in a related manufacturing field is acceptable (metalworking, etc.). • Experience with high end custom millwork a plus. • AutoCAD experience and strong computer skills. • Attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Must be available to work full time hours with 7am - 8am start time. • Must be available to work some Saturdays as needed.
