Architecture firm in need of an experienced Constructability Reviewer. Responsibilities will include: * Review construction documents (Plans and Specifications) to identify potential constructability issues prior to the documents being completed and issued for bidding. * Identify information missing from the construction documents that would typically become a Request for Information (RFI) during the construction phase. * Identify conflicts or gaps in the construction documents that can lead to a trade missing scope or requiring re-design during the construction phase. * Detailed coordination of Landscape, Civil, Architectural, Structural, M-E-P disciplines. * General quality control review of construction documents. * This work can be done remotely using BlueBeam. * Pay will be hourly at a negotiated rate. * Please send cover letter, resume and proposed hourly rate to request an interview. Our Land Survey/AutoCAD Technician is a full time, year round role in our busy Mystic, CT office. The ideal candidate has experience with the full scope of land survey site work, conducting research of plans, deeds, and configuration of parcel boundaries using AutoCAD. About the work: • AutoCAD drafting files and prepare T2 topographical surveys, A2 boundary, lot splits subdivision plans, ALTA surveys, parcel descriptions, elevation certificates, construction layouts, construction as-builts and exhibits. • Ability to work independently and get along well with co-workers, clients, service providers and civil servants. • Willingness to perform work in year round variable weather conditions. • Attentive to deadlines and budgets. • Clear and concise written and verbal communications. • Arrives to work each day with a positive, can do attitude taking initiative. • Exhibits a common sense approach to decision making. • Takes pride in a job well done. Architecture firm in need of an on-call, hourly Senior Cost Estimator. Responsibilities will include: * Preparing conceptual "design/build" estimates based on concept drawings through detailed estimates based on 100% CDs * Must be able to do detailed take-offs and estimating for all trades, including MEP * This will include detailed estimates for self-performed concrete and carpentry scopes of work * Estimate updates at the various design milestones with clear and concise variance reports * Must be skilled in value engineering * Must be highly organized * Most projects will be new buildings and full modernizations * Most projects will be public schools under jurisdiction of DSA * Most projects will be located in Northern CA * This work can be done remotely using BlueBeam or OST * Prefer estimates in Excel format * Pay will be hourly at a negotiated rate * Please send cover letter, resume and proposed hourly rate to request an interview.
