Job Description 7am Start time Monday - Friday $20-25/hr Audio and Media Operator I will be responsible for jobs related to audio and media post-production services. Primary responsibilities include preparing and delivering media content. Candidate must have a strong understanding, efficiency, and skillset in Avid Pro Tools, with some experience in operating non-linear video editors. Knowledge of traditional audio formats (2.0, 5.1, 7.1, Dolby Atmos), sample rate conversion, loudness compliance standards, and post-production audio workflows is expected. Some knowledge of video types, SMPTE timecode, frame rates, and codecs is preferred. Attention to detail, excellent time management and a perfectionist mindset are paramount in this role. Prequalify and manage a high volume of multi-channel audio assets in various formats and configurations Perform technical quality control checks and create final deliverable packages for audio assets Update internal audio job trackers and other proprietary asset management systems Prepare Pro Tools sessions for internal recording, mix, editorial, and QC processes Generate and review QC and dubbing verification reports and to ensure highest possible quality standards for final audio mixes Editorial and conform of standard configuration audio assets Perform linear technical audio QCs for catastrophic playback errors Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade specific education 2+ years in audio post-production or media service projects for film and tv Excellent Pro Tools operational skills, including the use of video in Pro Tools Basic Non-linear video workstation editor skills Excel and other MS Office application software Excellent communication skills over phone and email Deep sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with self-direction Problem solver with creative and innovative approach and ability to think out of the box Outstanding attention to detail Preferred Strong skills with Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with other media applications such as Adobe Suite and Final Cut Pro Physical Requirements Ability to continuously sit in an office chair Ability to operate and work in front of a computer in an audio room setting

About the Role: NEON has an opportunity for a film-savvy Delivery Consultant to support our Delivery and Media operations team on a part-time basis over a four-month period. This role will provide critical support in the preparation and delivery of digital cinema assets, including materials for screenings, social content, and award campaigns.   This role is perfect for someone with post-production experience who is comfortable juggling multiple media workflows. It’s technically a coordinator-level role, but we’re open to more experienced folks who are happy rolling up their sleeves and diving in. What You’ll Be Doing: Helping manage and maintain screener portals Overseeing soundtrack processes and deliveries Assisting with DCP and KDM delivery for staff and talent screenings Labeling and organizing assets from social content and BTS shoots Creating proxy files for EPKs, dailies, and behind-the-scenes footage QC’ing screeners to ensure that subtitles and audio descriptions are accurate and do not have mistakes For Oscar-nominated titles, sourcing language tracks and resyncing subtitles What We're Looking For: Working knowledge of film, video, and audio formats  Super detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Requires someone who can commute to the Soho office a minimum of three days per week  Experience with media asset management tools, transcoding software, and/or subtitle workflows a plus Prior experience in post-production or distribution a plus Additional Information: This is a temporary, part-time position averaging 10–15 hours per week.
