Description

Seeking the following crew members for a low budget feature film. The screenplay is along the lines of “The Perfect Guy” and “When the Bough Breaks.” DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY: Looking for someone with compelling visual sensibilities. Expertise with making dialogue scenes fresh is required. It is a plus if you have your own equipment although the director has access to a solid Cannon camera package along with several lenses. FIRST ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: Seeking an AD with quick trouble shooting skills and schedule experience is a big plus. Overall, someone who takes pride in running a positive and productive set. FIRST ASSISTANT CAMERA: Seeking a 1st AC who is able to collaborate well with the DP and Director to achieve amazing visuals. Some experience is required. SOUND RECORDIST: Seeking an experienced sound recordist who owns their own equipment. Strong file organization skills required to help streamline the post-production process. It is a plus if you have several wireless lavaliers available. GAFFER: Experience is required. It is a plus if you have experience lighting a variety of skin tones and access to an LED lighting panel. HAIR/MAKE-UP/SPECIAL EFFECTS ARTIST: The film has a small cast, most days will be 2 or 3 actors. Experience with practical effects a big plus. RATE: $200 per day All meals provided in addition to IMDb credits. PROPOSED DATES: 6-day filming schedule from Monday, September 29th - Saturday, October 4th. About the Role: NEON has an opportunity for a film-savvy Delivery Consultant to support our Delivery and Media operations team on a part-time basis over a four-month period. This role will provide critical support in the preparation and delivery of digital cinema assets, including materials for screenings, social content, and award campaigns.   This role is perfect for someone with post-production experience who is comfortable juggling multiple media workflows. It’s technically a coordinator-level role, but we’re open to more experienced folks who are happy rolling up their sleeves and diving in. What You’ll Be Doing: Helping manage and maintain screener portals Overseeing soundtrack processes and deliveries Assisting with DCP and KDM delivery for staff and talent screenings Labeling and organizing assets from social content and BTS shoots Creating proxy files for EPKs, dailies, and behind-the-scenes footage QC’ing screeners to ensure that subtitles and audio descriptions are accurate and do not have mistakes For Oscar-nominated titles, sourcing language tracks and resyncing subtitles What We're Looking For: Working knowledge of film, video, and audio formats  Super detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Requires someone who can commute to the Soho office a minimum of three days per week  Experience with media asset management tools, transcoding software, and/or subtitle workflows a plus Prior experience in post-production or distribution a plus Additional Information: This is a temporary, part-time position averaging 10–15 hours per week.
