Job Type: Contract: $500/10-hour day plus gas and meals. About Us: Hot On! Homes, a dynamic real estate advertising agency, is dedicated to showcasing properties through innovative, high-quality visual storytelling. We are seeking a skilled and licensed Drone Operator to capture stunning aerial footage and photography that highlights the unique features of our residential and commercial listings. Position Overview: The Drone Operator will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering professional aerial video and photo content for real estate marketing campaigns. This role requires strong technical skills in drone operation, an eye for composition, and a creative approach to visual storytelling. Key Responsibilities: • Operate drones to capture aerial video and photography of residential properties and master planned communities. • Collaborate with in-house marketing staff to determine project requirements. • Plan and execute flight paths while ensuring safety, compliance, and quality results. • Maintain drones, equipment, and software to ensure optimal performance. • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, local laws, and company safety protocols. • Manage project timelines and deliver final content to meet deadlines. • Must be able to work without supervision and manage time effectively. Qualifications: • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required). • Must own or have access to any DJI brand drone that is capable of filming in 4K D-log 10-bit resolution up to 60 frames per second or higher. Must have capabilities to fly up to 1000m to cover the full scale of the communities. Acceptable Drone models include DJI Air 3, DJI Air 3s, DJI Mavic 3, classic, Pro, DJI Mavic 4, Pro, DJI Inspire 2, DJI Inspire 3. Any other model must be approved. • Must have Batteries to be able to film for the full 8-10 hours. • Media storage provided. • Proven experience operating drones for photography and videography (portfolio required). • Knowledge of aerial cinematography, camera settings, and lighting techniques. • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to frame engaging shots. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and travel to various property sites. • Must have reliable transportation. Preferred Skills: • Experience in real estate photography/videography. What We Offer: • Per-day compensation of $500 per ten-hour day. • Gas and Meals allowance. • Flexible scheduling.
