We’re looking for a reliable and resourceful Production Assistant to join our art installation and photography project in South Miami for the month of August. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-energy team bringing an ambitious artistic vision to life. As a Production Assistant, you’ll be the glue that holds our operation together (no pressure). You’ll support our Production Director and Studio Manager in the day-to-day execution of the project. You’ll help with everything from supply runs to on-site support during photo shoots and installation days. We need someone who thrives in organized chaos, follows direction well, and has a sharp eye for what needs to get done. Resolves problems, sets schedules, and maintains high standards for news quality. 4. Has an understanding of tax law basics and terminology, as well as a thorough understanding of congressional and regulatory procedures. 5. Edits for substance, style, and accuracy, conducts research as needed, and ensures proper style, according to established policies and procedures. 6. Responsible for long-range planning, including assessing needs for graphics and other resources to complete assignments. 7. Participates in company-sponsored conferences, roundtable discussions, etc. 8. Adheres to company style guide and established publication deadlines. 9. Supervises subordinate staff, including hiring, recommending raises, disciplinary actions, and termination. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Demonstrated strong knowledge of writing and editing concepts and principles. Must be able to evaluate content for grammar, clarity, and coherence. Understanding of key principles in tax policy. Ability to write and edit stories on complex topics in a way that is accessible to educated individuals who are not experts in every field of tax law. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to manage a large team. Ability to work under deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment. Requirements College degree in English, journalism, or related field. 10 years+ of experience in editing and reporting news stories, preferably for a professional audience. Must display sound judgment and problem-solving skills. Experience in managing and team building.
