Description

Looking for an experienced farm hand for harvest to operate equipment. Duties will include operating combine, trucking grain, harrow, hauling grain, swathing. Must be mechanically inclined. We are looking for 2-3 individuals to work on our harvest crew. Male or female. Must have a good attitude, and willing to work amongst a team. Starting mid August until late October or November. We need a grain cart operator, and 2 truckers to round out our crew. Class 1 or Class 3 is required. Room and board is provided. We are looking to fill 2–3 positions, including a grain cart operator and two truck drivers, to help ensure a smooth and efficient harvest. Duties will include operating combines, trucking grain, running the grain cart, harrowing, swathing, and hauling grain as required. Applicants must be mechanically inclined and able to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to keep operations running efficiently. A positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a willingness to work long hours during peak periods are essential. Both male and female candidates are welcome to apply. For trucking positions, a valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license is required, and prior experience with agricultural hauling is considered a strong asset. In return, we offer a supportive work environment, room and board for the duration of the harvest, and the opportunity to work with modern, well-maintained equipment in a professional farming operation. We promote a fun team atmosphere among our crew. Most of the crew is our family. We are in a dry camp, drugs and alcohol are not allowed. We are willing to train the suitable people and there is possibility of full time employment for the right person. Compensation depends upon skills and experience. Starting at $20.00 per hour with most people making $25-30 per hour. Wage is negotiable based on experience. A valid drivers license is required. We work many hours per week but have Sundays and rain days off. Typical work day is 12-16 hours.
