Description

I need a professional film editor to provide a final cut for a post-graduate class filmed at Cal State University Fullerton. Sample full lesson rough cuts are provided that only need to be revised and polished for their final cut. The editor will need to create a new and improved version of the lesson rough cut. Responsibilities will include switching between close up shots on board work, medium shots for instructor walk arounds and explanations, insertion of texts, cut scenes, and the enhanced smoothing and transition between cuts. The job is part-time with almost all lesson rough cuts averaging at about 3-5 hours without online content and 4-6.5 hours with online content. [Raw footage is sped up at about 1.2-1.3x to fit into this time interval.] The classes are filmed on two to three 4k resolution cameras which makes the editing process much easier to switch around. I will provide detailed notes for the first two lessons to help guide you to create the teaching style we are looking for. You will then use that style to complete the remaining edits. A total of 9 Lessons will be edited: Lessons 1-5: $65-75 Lessons 6-9 - $100. The ideal timeframe is to complete one lesson a week, the first revision within four days, then after receiving feed back completing the lesson by the end of the week. I am searching for someone who is advanced in editing with a keen attention to detail and will provide quality cuts that can amplify the footage taken.
