POSITION SUMMARY As a Team Lead at New Flyer, you will take on a pivotal role in supervising and guiding a dedicated team within the production environment. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality. This position is Monday through Friday; 6:30am - 3pm. Rate of pay is $35.75 per hour. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Lead and supervise daily activities of the team to meet production targets. Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and quality standards. Implement best practices and company policies to enhance workflow and productivity. Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to improve skill sets. Monitor production processes, identify issues, and recommend solutions. Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement. Maintain accurate documentation of production and labor data. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Proven and consistent experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
