Description

The Digital Print Assistant role will support the front of house operations in the direct to film (DTF) print department. Working directly with our Digital Print Specialist, this individual will be responsible for maintaining high quality prints, ripping files through our software program and allowing Campus Ink to continue being one of the best apparel and transfer businesses in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with day-to-day operations within the DTF department. Analyzing number of daily print counts. Meeting or exceeding quotas per machine. Staying up-to-date with player and school changes (such as numbers or spelling of names). Leverage data to gain insights and influence decisions. An ideal person for this role will have: Experience printing with large format printers Excellent organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team Love of collegiate sports and general NCAA knowledge Requirements Reliable Transportation Strong Communication Skills Attention to Detail Positive Attitude Benefits JOB TYPE: Full-time Position - This is a Full-Time Employee role, 40 hours a week Monday - Friday. JOB SUMMARY: With direction from the Director of Manufacturing, the position is accountable for safety, quality, productivity, cost performance, employee relations in a high-performance work team environment. Input required for capital improvements and budget preparation. This is to include IQ/OQ/PQ, APQP, and other qualification activities. • Build and maintain productive employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction. Provide direction, training, and development as needed. Provide coaching, counseling, or discipline as needed. Recommend disciplinary action to plant manager and review disciplinary action by supervisors for effectiveness and consistency. Work with HR to address employee concerns and issues. • Work with internal and external resources to support the development, installation, and qualification of new automation/equipment. • Support plant in continuous improvement initiatives, such as 5S with safety, 6 Sigma, Kaizen events, and lean manufacturing. • Facilitate the tool room activities, schedule, and priorities. On the SHIPPING side, you will review the barcode gun for the next order to fill, go to that location, and pick the parts required, scanning the locations as you go with the barcode gun. You will then transport the items, by wheeled cart, pallet jack, or forklift, and package them for shipment. Once orders have been packaged, you will schedule their shipments either via UPS WorldShip or via our fright consolidator CH Robinson. If the orders are to ship via truck, you will load them into the trucks when they arrive via hand truck or forklift as required.
