The Director, Regulatory Affairs will be responsible for developing and implementing global regulatory strategies with focus on America’s and the clinical, and non-clinical disciplines. Ensures timely preparation of organized and scientifically valid submissions. Provides expertise in translating regulatory requirements into practical, workable plans for project teams with international participants. May mentor and potentially supervise other regulatory professionals working on the project team and regulatory process-related topics. Requires ability to work strategically, both independently and in a team environment. The position will ideally be based in the Ascendis Pharma corporate offices in Palo Alto, CA or Princeton, NJ.   Key Responsibilities Responsible for strategic and operational regulatory input for cross functional (non-clinical and clinical) areas in collaboration with other project team members and regulatory colleagues. Contributes to the development of global clinical regulatory plans and strategies, identifies, and proposes risk mitigation strategies, and influences project teams and sub teams across international site locations. Provides regulatory information and guidance for product development and planning throughout the product lifecycle (e.g., concept, development, manufacturing, marketing) to ensure compliance and product expansion. Acts as the company representative with regulatory authorities covering America’s Prepares and/or manages submissions that are technically complex and require extensive interaction with departments outside of regulatory affairs. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on and/or oversee a number of projects with tight timelines. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of highly complex regulatory requirements and communicates changes in regulatory information to project teams. Work both independently and by supporting the regulatory project team Contribute to internal regulatory policies and procedures to achieve best practices and work processes. Requirements BS/BA Degree in a Scientific Discipline, Advanced Degree required. Minimum of 10 years overall regulatory experience and preferably including experience managing investigational and marketed products. Prior experience representing Regulatory Affairs on cross-functional teams is desirable. Must be capable of effectively leading teams in preparation of submissions. Experience working on international teams desirable. Experience working on international submission desirable. Must have an extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements, including ICH and regional requirements, and have an understanding of current global and regional trends in regulatory affairs and ability to assess the impact of these requirements to the business. Must be capable of critically reviewing complex technical documents and influencing colleagues across functions. Experience with drug-device combination products preferred. Experience in filing regulatory dossiers including CTAs, IMPDs, INDs required; experience with marketing applications is a plus. Ability to travel up to 10-20% of the time domestically and internationally, since part of the Regulatory Affairs organization is located in Princeton, Palo Alto and Denmark. We are looking for a dynamic Senior Policy/Administrative Analyst to join our team! The Senior Policy/Administrative Analyst will support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, issuances and regulatory program by performing a variety of technical, analytical, and administrative project tasks.  This position is located in Arlington, VA (Pentagon) and will have a mandatory 2 days a week onsite. This is a contingent requisition for anticipated future opportunities. If active roles are awarded, you will be contacted in the future. Responsibilities Provide extensive administrative and analytical services for the processing of DoD issuances in support of directorates and leadership Use critical thinking, reviews, writes, rewrites, edits, proofreads, and assists Government staff as they prepare packages for short-turn deliverables to senior DoD leadership in accordance with applicable DoD Manuals for Written Materials Ensure all external correspondence coordination is accomplished within assigned suspense times with the appropriate response Support change management and communication efforts for a wide range of executive services supporting the issuances portfolio Provide substantive technical support to the development and maintenance of the issuances and regulatory program.  Support may include the development of information papers, frequently asked questions, policy change proposals, and briefing material Support the development and revision of policy drafts and managing the coordination of documents within DoD policy portals while resolving issues as they arise Coordinate recommended changes and updates to DoD issuances and forms via CATMS with all DoD Components, reconcile feedback and changes, and develop final drafts for review Coordinate with the department and Washington Headquarters Service (WHS) forms and issuances POCs, WHS Information Management Office, and other appropriate offices of responsibility to recommend updates and changes to existing or new issuances Provide operational services and knowledge management support including file consolidation and management of departmental SharePoint site Maintain tracking system of document status  Contribute to the development and implementation of program education and training Qualifications  Must have an active Secret Clearance or above Bachelor's degree or experience in doing similar work  Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional work experience within the DoD/Federal Agency space Previous experience with Issuances required Demonstrated skills to perform all required duties  Ability to work responsibly and independently with minimal direct supervision  Experience with standard MS Office suite products and SharePoint  Desired Skills and Experience  Master’s Degree Degree in English, journalism, or policy  Experience with CATMS, TMT, EMT2, or Federal or military Task Management system Experience working in or supporting the White House or Office of the Secretary of Defense  Familiarity with DoD manual for Written Materials  Experience supporting the military, Veterans Administration, or prior military experience  Experience providing customer service support will be considered an asset  CATHEXIS offers competitive compensation packages to all eligible employees.
