As an Asphalt Raker, you will play a crucial role in the construction and paving of roads and parking lots, ensuring smooth and even surfaces. Your primary responsibilities will include: Raking and spreading hot asphalt material to achieve specified thickness and smoothness. Assisting with the preparation of surfaces, including cleaning, priming, and filling any cracks or potholes. Operating hand tools and equipment such as shovels, rakes, and tampers. Monitoring and adjusting the flow and temperature of the asphalt material. Collaborating with the paving crew to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications. Maintaining a clean and safe work area. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working in the paving or construction industry. The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, work well in a team, and follow safety protocols is essential. A valid driver's license and knowledge of asphalt paving techniques and equipment would be preferred. Yard/Light Mainteance Equipment Services is a construction equipment refurbishing company located in Bristol PA. We are looking for someone to help in our yard and shop. Work will include loading and unloading trucks, accepting deliveries, making local equipment deliveries for the shop, keeping the yard organized and presentable. Light mechanical duties will include changing tires, jump starting machines, changing batteries, fueling up machines, installing rental decals, and assisting mechanics. You must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check. Forklift and machinery operating experience is a plus but not required. Will train the right candidate.
