Ok, look, I’ll be the first to admit that this is a project car. Is it struggling? Sure, but in the right hands, it’ll be an opportunity. For starters, here’s what’s wrong: Low compression in two cylinders, misfiring on all six (Valves all seal), VSA lights indicate that somethings up with that, and lastly, and this is probably the worst part…the TPMS isn’t working. I know, death knell. Ok, now for the good parts: three owners ever, regular oil changes every 5K religiously, Interior is immaculate, all the bells and whistles (power seats, power moon roof, 6 cd changer, leather, plastic floor mats) all still work, brand new tires (less than 500 miles on them), brand new head gaskets, water pump, air intake, and belts (timing and serpentine), working tow package, and, lastly, it is a Honda. Whether as a project or just for parts, this thing is a treasure trove. It runs and drives, and I have the clean title. I know what I’m sitting on, and I know its value. I could trade/scrap it for $600, but I know it’s worth at least $3,000 in the right hands. KBB if it was running 100% is $4,500-$5,500. Rebuilt engines are currently listing for $800-$1,500. I’d do it myself, but I’m up against a shot clock. I need to liquidate this AND get my daughter a replacement car before she leaves for college…on August 8th. So, here we are. A good ol’ standoff. I’ll asking $3k obo. Don’t hassle me with lowball offers. I’ll scrap it just to spite you. But if you’re willing to talk turkey, let’s do this thing. Cash or cashiers check only.
