Description

Process and prepare prescription orders accurately with appropriate medications for pharmacist verification Prepare and dispense medications under supervision of pharmacists. Maintain inventories of drugs and supplies and maintaining stock control. Operate various types of pharmacy automation. Fill and stock medications. Hours of Operation: Second Shift: 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., Monday-Friday; weekends and holidays as directed Pay: 2nd shift $22.25 ($21.50 + $.75 shift differential) per hour plus benefits Requirements Candidates must be Certified by the National Pharmacy Technician Board Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of citizenship or legal residency in the United States Must be 18 years old and a high school graduate or have GED Must be able to read and communicate in English Understand how to perform basic mathematical calculations Be able to lift 50 pounds, twist, and stoop; push or pull up to 150 pounds on a rolling cart or using a pallet jack Have the ability to stand for long periods of time (8-9 hours) performing repetitive motion Be able to meet production/accuracy standards required by the facility Be able to understand and meet all safety standards Be able to meet all regular hours and overtime hours that are required by the facility Must be able to pass a federal background check NO felony convictions or record of domestic violence, theft, or drug related charges Must be able to pass drug screening, including THC (marijuana) Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
