DW Collectors Series Drums - $3,800 (Pittsburgh)

Mid 90's era DW Collectors Series Maple Drum Set. Azure Blue, Satin Oil finish (Natural Satin Oil finish On SD): Sizes are as follows: Toms- 8"x10", 9"x12", 11"x14", 13"x16" Please note: The 7x8 Tom in the pictures has already been sold in a separate transaction as it was not part of the original shell pack and did not have a matching badge. I am just too lazy to take the kit out of it's cases and set it up to retake photos. SD/BD- 4.5"x14", 18"x22" These shells are in great condition and sound as good as the day they were purchased new. Naturally, after 25+ years there are some scuffs/and scrapes on the finish ply on a couple of the drums and there is some tarnishing on the rims of the floor toms. Considering their age, I would rate the appearance as very good. Also, the 14in tom has a brand new rim. I had to replace it because it was out of round. I am additionally including the two heavy duty tom stands pictured and the legs for the two floor toms. Additional hardware and cymbals in the pictures are not included in the sale price. These drums have had one owner and were originally purchased around 1996 or '97. The snare drum however was added roughly 8 years later which is why it has a mid-2000's badge. If an interested party does not want the SD, I am willing to remove it from the sale of the kit and reduce the price accordingly. I just figured there would be many who would be in need of a snare rather than just a tom/BD shell pack so I am including it as an option. The batter heads on all the toms are either new or very gently/sparingly used Evans Clear G2s. The 14" Floor however, has a Remo clear Ambassador. I have not yet changed out the SD batter head but will gladly include a fresh head with the purchase. The bass drum has a lightly used clear Evans Emad. Resonant heads are all in great shape. Lowball offers will receive no reply. I have had an artist relationship with DW for 20 years and know what these drums cost new and their value in the used marketplace. New, this shell pack (plus 2 stands) would cost in the neighborhood of $6500-$7000. As a reference, if you check Sweetwater's website you will find a satin oil collector's series shell pack with 10", 12" rack toms, 14" Floor and a 20" Kick for $4560. That's difference of -$560 for a set that includes two more drums including an $800+ Snare Drum, a $1000+ 16" Floor Tom and a larger Kick Drum. (Plus a couple Tom Stands.)
